Shipping & Refunds

Order Processing Days
Note that orders received on Saturdays, Sundays and Public holidays will be processed the following open day. We ship orders daily Monday - Friday but same day processing is not guaranteed. If you have an urgent order we will do our best to accommodate you if you provided reasonable notice.

How we ship items
Bag sized items are shipped via NZ Courier and larger parcels ship with PB Transport. All courier items must be shipped to a physical address. Derby Depot takes no responsibility for delays in delivery due to incorrect postal addresses.

Upgrades and Rural
Our shipping rates do not cover rural or weekend delivery. Rural delivery on boxed items is an additional $8.00 and for courier bags $4.00. If you do use a rural address during ordering, we will contact you to arrange additional payment so we can release your order.

Freight is calculated once a valid delivery address has been entered as rates are determined by location. All prices are GST inclusive and are as follows:

Special Delivery Instructions
Should you have a special delivery instruction, please enter the relevant information in the box provided when completing your order. The delivery instructions will be passed onto our courier and driver. Please ensure that you also include your contact details should the courier driver need to contact you.

Damaged Goods or Lost in Transit
Damaged Goods - please notify us within seven days of receipt if your goods arrived damaged by emailing Images required as is original packaging. Well will discuss remedy with you and if possible send a replacement pair. Remember, if you sign for the delivery ensure you check for any external damage first as claims are voided once goods have been signed for by most delivery companies. 

Lost in Transit - should you not receive your goods within the delivery schedule in the first instance, please check the tracking information and/or contact delivery company which is emailed once goods have shipped (if you provide email address during checkout). If the courier company cannot locate the item then email us at Please have your order confirmation on hand as reference.

Incorrect Product Delivered
In the unfortunate event that you are sent the wrong product, please notify us immediately and we will arrange for the correct product to be delivered free of charge.

Return and Refund Policy

We will meet our obligation under the Consumer’s Guarantee Act 1993 regarding all refunds and remedies.

Should you receive a product that is of a poor quality or defective please allow us the opportunity to replace the product or substitute it with a better product at our cost.

Custom orders are non refundable so please ensure that sizing etc is correct before ordering.

Items purchased on Sale are final, with no refunds provided on change of mind or due to incorrect sizing so please choose carefully. This excludes faulty products in which we will meet our requirements under the Consumer's Guarantee Act 1993. 

Refund Procedure for Unavailable Items

In the event that an item is unavailable but paid for at the time of ordering, our Customer Services team will contact you to arrange a refund or remedy for that item. Refunds are made using the original payment method and back to the account from which payment was originally made.

Incorrect Product Ordered

If you order a product in error, a refund will be honoured for the product provided it is returned to us within 14 days of receipt, along with the original invoice in a resalable condition, that is, unopened with packaging intact in original condition.

Returned goods that are received damaged will not be considered for a refund.

The refund will be for the original amount paid for the product exclusive of freight costs and will be issued within seven working days from date of receipt. Refunds are made using the original payment method and back to the account from which payment
